Compliance Audits

We offer to complete a formal audit of your systems processes and practices to ensure your business meets the requirements of accepted practices, legislation, prescribed rules and regulations, specified standards, or even the terms of a contract.
In 2012 the HSE introduced a cost recovery regime. This allows costs to be imposed when, in the opinion of an HSE inspector, there is or has been a contravention of Health & Safety law that requires them to issue notice in writing of that opinion. The Fee for Intervention (FFI) is under regulations 23 to 25 of The Health & Safety (Fees) Regulations 2012 and attracts and hourly rate of £163 (April 2022).
FFI applies to duty holders where HSE is the enforcing authority. This includes employers, self-employed people who put others (including their employees or members of the public) at risk, and some individuals acting in a capacity other than as an employee, eg partners.

It includes:

  • public and limited companies;
  •  general, limited and limited liability partnerships; and
  •  Crown and public bodies.

Our impartial audits are fully confidential and we will cover all agreed processes, service and products.
